Back in 96 I decided that I was going to get back in the game.
One place wanted to pay 900 a month plus a room in the farmhouse..which I couldn't use since I was a single parent with 3 kids.
I ended up at a place that paid 1200 and provided a trailer and all utilities paid plus milk meat and cheese (of course) I would have got 4 of the years heifers every year and the chance to buy in after 4. Small family place with 62 under the pipeline.
I milked, fed, bred, cleaned the feedlot and heifer sheds, took care of the calves and heifers and filled in on the tractor occasionally. Every other weekend off.
