Meet My Herd
Okay if I can figure out the attachments, These are my 2 girls Guinen, Chamoisee, and Genie, Cou Clair. Between them they had 4 doe kids for me this year, some of who are also pictured. These girls have served me well for several years and will soon be retired. Their doe kids will be taking their place.
My adult girls are Alpine/Nubian mix, the kids are crossed on LaMancha to create a hardy 3 way cross.

Then we have the wethered boys. They are in charge of blackberry eating and camping gear transportation.
Dexter is the herd sire, he is extremely gentle and makes the funniest hooting noises.

There is a farmer that uses goats for gorse control in Tassie. They seem to eat everything, blackberries now included on my list.
Awww last time I saw dexter is not long after you got him. He sure turned out handsome!!
