    Default Corn milling problem

Recently , we had a problem in the process in the feed mill , the corn creates a dough after it breaks and it stops at the small pores of the feed mill , we tried changing the pores to a bigger size , the problem is still the same , we deducted it was the corn kernels , what would be the problem exactly ?

What is the moisture content of the grain? If it is higher than 18% moisture, this could be a cause of your problem. Also could be the type of corn being milled. Some food grade corns have a softer kernel and the fines might bunch up if ground in a conventional hammer mill.
